- Did you know that your child's first eye exam should be at 6 months of age?
Scheduling your baby's first eye exam is important to ensure that both of your baby's eyes are focusing together as a team. Also during this first visit, Dr. Schulz will check for the early signs of astigmatism, farsightedness and nearsightedness. Any family history of cataracts should be discussed at this time, as well. - Did you know that everyone begins to lose their ability to focus in their 40's?
You may become aware of presbyopia when you start holding books and newspapers at arm's length to be able to read them. If you're nearsighted, you might temporarily manage presbyopia by reading without your glasses. - Did you know that 90% of glaucoma-afflicted people show no symptoms at all? Worldwide, glaucoma is the leading cause of blindness and is often called the "sneak robber of sight".
- Dr. Schulz is a board certified Optometric Physician in ocular therapeutics.
- Dr. Schulz has been caring for patients in Pasco, Pinellas and Hernando Counties since 1979.
- Besides our regular office hours, we also offer evening hours by appointment and On-Call 24-hour Emergency eye care services!
- Regular hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
